Irish Artist - Peter GrowneyThe artwork on this site is all by the irish landscape artist Peter Growney, residing in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. As an Irish landscape Artist he creates his works in the mediums of oils, watercolour, pastel, pen and ink, pencil and mixed media. Scenes by this Irish Artist are much sought after and many of his Irish landscape scenes have gone abroad. The ArtistIrish Landscape Artist Peter Growney was born at Frayne, Athboy, Co Meath, a country townland nestling in a small valley of serene beauty, which initially inspired his great love of landscape painting.This love of beauty was later enhanced when he received his first art training at The Salesian College, Ballinakill, Portlaoise. Later he again attended Art classes at Bray, VEC Co Wicklow. He now resides in Bray and devotes his full time to painting. He has had a number of very successful one man exhibitions.
